On the 29th of March 2019, iZeno alongside our partner – Atlassian hosted a workshop at the J.W Marriott Hotel, Singapore.
The theme of the workshop was “Discover DevOps with Atlassian.”
The objective of the workshop was to enlighten attendees about DevOps and its challenges, and demonstrate how they could implement Atlassian products in DevOps to deliver software faster and more reliably.
Keynote speakers at the event were Leonard Winata, Principal Software Engineer at iZeno & Scott Goh-Davis, Solutions Engineer at Atlassian Corporation.
The event opened with our DevOps expert, Leonard Winata delivering the first session on modernizing application with Microservices in the DevOps environment. Leonard discussed the development and operations challenges enterprises face working with the DevOps environment, and how Atlassian products can set their teams up for success. Atlassian’s Culture, Speed, Resolution, and Prioritization were identified as what sets it apart from other technologies.
Scott Goh-Davis delivered the second session on ITSM in an Agile World – Using Atlassian’s holistic approach to ITSM which spans across People, Process, and Products. Scott shared valuable insights into how enterprises can make their ITSM lean using Atlassian solutions. Rethinking roles and responsibilities, finding your baseline, automating tasks, and continual experimentation and adjustment were discussed as Atlassian’s approach to more efficient and reliable value delivery with ITSM.

The event ended with a Q & A session where some attendees asked questions concerning challenges they face using DevOps in their organizations and how to leverage Atlassian solutions for greater efficiency and productivity.
