On the 15th of September 2022, iZeno, alongside our partners – Red Hat, Nutanix, and Tech Data, hosted an event in Singapore. The theme of this event was ‘To Accelerate your App Modernisation Journey’. The objective of this webinar was to enlighten attendees on what is legacy app modernisation, how to accelerate app modernisation adoption, to find out which app modernisation strategies exist and why one should modernise a system by architecting their legacy applications into cloud-native applications.
The event opened with Director of Technology, Deddy Johari from iZeno, Senior Specialist Solutions Architect, Kin Wai Koo from Red Hat ASEAN, Country CTO, Edward Low from Nutanix and Senior Solutions Architect, COE Lead, Aravind Inavolu from Tech Data.
Deddy emphasised navigating business challenges with technology. In this session, he explained more about how the pandemic has accelerated digital interaction and how to stay relevant. He further added the importance of app modernisation in an organisation, including Development Agility, Platform Scalability, Application Resiliency, Ease of Maintenance, App Conversion Rate Quality and Increase Customer Experience.
Kin Wai Koo shared more on considerations of App Modernisation where he highlighted the State of App Modernisation Report 2022 to illustrate the top reasons for modernisation and the ways companies define modernisation. He also discussed how to modernise, the migration strategies, benefits, efforts and the barriers stopping modernisation. He ends his session by explaining the Red Hat approach – Expertise in Technology, Methodology, and Tools for Modernisation.
Besides, Edward Low shared more on how Nutanix aids its customers in navigating cloud complexity. He further added the Nutanix Cloud Platform and their partnership with Red Hat. On the other hand, Aravind from Tech Data has shared more on APJ Advanced Solutions Center of Excellence – A guided approach to enabling profitable growth across Cloud, Security, Analytics and Hybrid Cloud. He also explained Red Hat OpenShift on Nutanix HCI.
